As previously advised, we will hold our AGM on Tuesday 22nd September at 8pm via Zoom.

May I remind you that all members are expected to attend this and as per the constitution, no less than 50% of the club. You must send your apologies if you cannot attend.
We will attempt to make this AGM the quickest ever! and the meeting is expected to last 15 minutes max.
We have a few positions on the committee that have become vacant this year – if you are interested in joining or finding out what’s involved, please do speak to one of us.

AGM agenda
1 Confirm the minutes of the previous AGM
2 Receive the audited accounts for the year from the Treasurer
3 Receive the annual report of the Officers:
- Club Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Umpiring Secretary
- Team Captains
4Review proposed changes to the Constitution.
3.5.2 If playing for the Under 19s team membership costs £222 per annum running from 1st September – 31st August. This cost assumes one hour of training per week plus match fees. This is an annual membership, however for ease we allow members to make these instalments by monthly payments of £18.50 into a separate bank account from the Adult teams with the Account number: 62069334 and Sort Code: 40 46 39. The yearly fee incorporates up to 12 weeks' worth of training breaks to accommodate Christmas, Easter and Summer. The club has the right to review this cost if the length of training permanently increases.
3.5.3 If for any extenuating circumstances, the period of 12 week breaks need to be extended, the committee will review whether it is appropriate for fees to be reduced/suspended. This may be for a period of time, or pro-rated accordingly.
3.6 Club officers shall be entitled to discounted fees in proportion to the work that is undertaken. Officers may choose not to take the reduction on offer if they so wish, but it is made available. In cases where one person holds multiple Executive Officer posts, they shall only be entitled to one discount at whichever post holds the highest discount. One person cannot hold more than two Executive Officer posts.

8.5 The quorum for AGM meetings shall be 50% plus one of current Adult members.
16.0 COVID 19
Winchester Netball Club has created a separate Policy for the COVID 19 situation. Please refer to the COVID 19 section on the website for guidance.
5 Elect the Executive Officers of the Club (in accordance with 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4 of the constitution)

NB. Item 4 - Alterations to the Constitution - Any proposed alterations to the Club Constitution may only be considered at the AGM
NB. Item 5 - Nomination of candidates for election of Executive Officers shall be made in writing to the Secretary at least 7 days in advance of the AGM date.
NB. Item 7 - Members must advise the Club Secretary, in writing, of any business to be moved at the AGM at least seven days prior to the meeting
